“We have done two previous wine tasting dinners with O Chateau and have enjoyed them both. However, this experience was far inferior to the last two. Our host was charming and engaging but the food and wine left a lot to be desired. Prior dinners included pate fois gras, filet and a wonderful dessert, all accompanied by generous pours of featured wine. This dinner featured soup, grilled ribeye steak that was practically inedible (fatty and sinewy and served lukewarm) with a few bland fingerling potatoes, and a minuscule serving (spoonful) of what I think was chocolate mousse or ganache. One small pour of wine (perhaps 1.5 ounces) was given as…”
