Loch Ness 1-Hour Cruise with Urquhart Castle Views

1.Loch Ness 1-Hour Cruise with Urquhart Castle Views

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 1,102 reviews · 1 hour (approx.) · from $30Our pick

Board a Jacobite catamaran at Clansman Harbour for a one-hour cruise on Loch Ness. You’ll hear English commentary, scan the water with onboard sonar, and see Urquhart Castle from the loch. Kieran is one guide praised for his lively delivery. Indoor seating, an outdoor deck, Wi-Fi, and a snack bar add comfort.

“It was easy to find where we had to go. All the staff were so friendly & one girl made a right fuss of our Winnie dog. We set sail on time & the cruise was lovely, The story told was fantastic & informative. No sign of Nessie but she could’ve been watching us. Great value for money. And the perfect hour spent on Christmas Eve. Thank you all.”

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 435 reviews · 1 hour · from $45

Start at Pohořelec with a local guide and walk through Hradčany past Loreto, Schwarzenberg Palace, and Černín Palace. After a one-hour introduction, use your castle ticket, map, and mobile audioguide to explore St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, and Golden Lane independently.

“Not exactly what we expected. This is a "pre-tour" to the castle. You start in town about a 10-min walk (but takes an hour due to photos/stopping for descriptions, etc.) from the castle learning about the history and folklore of the area/castle and surrounding buildings. THEN you enter the castle grounds through security, arrive at the church and are given your ticket/map that you will tour the remaining area on your own and at your leisure (We went to brunch and came back later in the day). Our guide was most pleasant, timely and informative BUT very hard to understands at times, which was challenging.”
